Seasons freakin’ greasons!!

Happy Holidays my merry companions!
This year I was incredibly blessed with lots of festivity and cheer with family and friends, I am incredibly thankful to celebrate Christmas with those I love and cherish.

As per Holiday tradition, my mom wanted the family to colour coordinate for Christmas. She bought us all matching green t-shirts…. with the text “State of Michigan” printed on it since there were no other green t-shirts available that had no text. Bless her soul, I’m sure my family knows as much about the State of Michigan as I do which is absolutely nothing. No wait I do know one thing about Michigan and it’s Detroit.

For dinner we had seafood boil, a super super large pan of lasagna, steak, and a meat pie gifted by my brother’s coworker. Everything else was cooked by my mother dearest who worked really hard first thing in the morning to prepare our Christmas feast. She looked so jolly and festive in her special Santa apron hehe.
For dessert we had a big leche flan and egg pie which was also a gift from my brother’s coworker. Unfortunately I didn’t get to try dessert since I was absolutely stuffed from the hearty seafood boil; my mother really is the best chef around!
We finished dinner a little early and we had some time to spare before Christmas eve so we gathered to the living room and watched a movie before clock struck twelve. Our movie of choice was Klaus and I’m sure my dad picked it because he recognized the movie as the one playing in the orthodontist waiting room when we were waiting to get my retainer fitted. We didn’t finish the movie but so far I found it really charming and engaging, it’s always nice to watch 2D-animated films and marvel at the art direction; the background art especially blew me away and I loved how they combined 3D rendering with 2D animation.
Midnight arrived and it was finally Christmas Eve!
We had an abundant amount of gifts this year and I was in charge of passing them around! Funnily my brother didn’t have as much gifts and we quickly find out why after he unwraps this massive heavy box that I didn’t even bother to lifting…. It was a jumbo screen computer monitor which will fit nicely to his computer set up of 3+ monitors.  He will truly become a super l337 haxxor this coming new years it seems.
I saved the gifts I made for my sister last and she was very delighted to open up her hachiware nui and homemade pluey ornament ^_^

product photo of the hachiware nui. it comes with a little camera!
