My first ever lolita purchase! In the various beginner EGL tutorials I've read, I found that a lack of petticoat is a common mistake for rookie lolitas. Determined to go against that, I decided to purchase a petticoat before I got anything else! ..Well actually. This is my 3rd ever EGL purchase. The first two were bought via a Taobao reseller that were shipped at a way later date. The petticoat just so happened to arrive first because I used a reliable proxy service instead of a middle-man. (Rip 42Agent) The petticoat is very comfortable and the poof is quite durable. As of writing this entry the petticoat retains its original volume! Proper storage goes a long way— I keep the petti in a foldable fabric storage bin that zips open and shut. I turn the petti inside out before I gently ball it into the container and fluff it out until it fills the entire space. Foldable fabric storage bins are my favourite go-to for storing petticoats since they're flexible and they stack on one another for easy storage.
